Tropeiro Grill

Tropeiro Grill located on Queen Street in Auckland is where you will find Brazilian cuisine full of flavour, tradition and history. The Tropeiros were people who, back in the colonial period of Brazil, rode horses and mules and drove cattle and other agricultural goods from Interior regions to the economic centres on the coast. Even though they were used to the harsh life of a traveller and the difficulties of adapting their diet to the available ingredients, the Tropeiros were able to create a cuisine worthy of any table, full of life, taste and flavour. This mix of European, African and indigenous eating habits, the three major groups that formed the Brazilian people, created the tropeiro cuisine. Welcome to Tropeiro Grill, the taste of Brazil.
